No matter the size of the county, e-recording makes the overall recording process easier and more efficient, helping both the county and its customers save money on paper and postage expenses among other advantages.
WEBSTER COUNTY, Ga. (PRWEB) August 22, 2014
Georgia has added its 16th electronic recording (e-recording) jurisdiction, Webster County, offering the county’s recording customers a quick, paperless option to submit land documents for recording through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider.
With Simplifile’s online service, customers such as title companies, banks, attorneys, and lien filers will be able to submit documents for recording via the Internet, where they are reviewed, stamped, and recorded by the county and returned back to the customer in minutes.
“Submitting documents by e-recording is significantly faster than submitting documents by mail or courier service,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “No matter the size of the county, e-recording makes the overall recording process easier and more efficient, helping both the county and its customers save money on paper and postage expenses among other advantages.”
Increased document security and fewer check-writing expenses are also some of the benefits of e-recording, as recording fees and payments can be processed securely through Simplifile via Automated Clearing House (ACH).
Webster County joins 15 other e-recording counties in the state of Georgia as well as more than 1,125 recording jurisdictions across the nation that offer Simplifile’s e-recording technology.
High-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to begin e-recording with Simplifile.
