Something or Other Publishing author Eric Mondschein continues to establish himself amongst his peers, and his efforts have recently gained the attention of multiple media outlets.
Mondschein’s “Life at 12 College Road,” which currently boasts a perfect five-star rating across 20 reviews on Amazon.com, was featured in an article in the Glen Falls Post-Star on May 10, 2014. The article, entitled “Books Have Local Connection,” appeared on the first page of the newspaper’s Arts and Life section. It contained blurbs on a handful of recommended books by Glen Falls-area authors, including Mondschein.
In addition, Mondschein’s intimate article about riding the Albany-New York Amtrak, entitled “Riding the Train,” was picked up by Boomercafe.com in early May. The highly trafficked website, which is focused on reaching baby boomers far and wide, previously featured an excerpt from “Life at 12 College Road.”
In another sign of Mondschein’s growing reputation, the author was recently listed in Poets & Writers’ prestigious Directory of Writers. Poets and Writers is a long-serving organization whose mission is to “foster the professional development of poets and writers, to promote communication throughout the literary community, and to help create an environment in which literature can be appreciated by the widest possible public.”
The recent flurry of publicity comes at a good time for Mondschein. His official book launch for “Life at 12 College Road” will be held in New York City at 53 East 11th Street on July 10, 2014 at 7 PM. Further details will be released by the author and Something or Other Publishing in the coming weeks.
