ESM Solutions®, a leading provider of cloud-based spend management and eProcurement solutions, has been included in the 2014 list of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 100 Great Supply Chain Projects.

The 2014 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 are supply chain solution and service providers that are helping their customers achieve supply chain excellence. They are leaders in the supply chain industry and have produced measurable gains in ROI through cost-cutting and increased efficiency in categories such as procurement, sourcing, warehouse and transportation.

ESM Solutions’ Ivy Tech Procure-to-Pay project was nominated and recognized for the Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 award. The objective of the project was for ESM Solutions to implement an affordable, tailorable and intuitive spend management solution for the entire Ivy Tech Community College, encompassing thirty-one campuses across fourteen regions in Indiana.

“We are honored to be recognized for the Supply and Demand Chain Executive 100,” said Mark Smith, COO at ESM Solutions. “The Ivy Tech project was a huge accomplishment; within six months, we delivered a fully functional suite of sourcing, procurement and contract management applications.”

The implementation included converting and replicating more than 5,000 workflows, training more than 2,100 users, enabling 14 preferred supplier catalogs and more than 12,000 non-catalog suppliers and real-time integrating to Ivy Tech’s Banner ERP system.

More than 200 projects were submitted and evaluated primarily based on ambitiousness and scope of the project, creative application of technologies, services and solutions used and extent of the business results.

The official announcement acknowledging ESM Solutions will take place in the June 2014 issue of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine.
