The esthetician program requires 750 hours to complete.
The barber discipline requires 1000 hours, and students learn an array of skills such as men and women’s haircuts with shears and razors, clipper cutting, design and styling, shaving, perms and straightening, coloring, facials and skin care, and professional skills including sanitation and business conduct.
For those eager to complete the 400-hour manicuring program, they will learn manicures and pedicures, including specialties such as UV light and gel nails, shellacking, nail art, acrylic and fiberglass nails, and sculptured nails. As with the other programs, students will learn proper professional and business conduct as well as safe sanitation guidelines.
Lastly, future cosmetologists can earn their degrees in 1,500 hours, focusing on hair cutting and styling, nail care, skin care, eyelash extensions, and all the basics and intricacies of the other programs combined.
