Ethica Institute's new mobile site is a welcome development. Like me, I'm sure thousands of site users across the world will find its valuable information to be a lot more accessible (Iqbal Nasim, UK’s National Zakat Foundation Chief Executive)

The Dubai-based institute for Islamic finance training and certification, Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance, announced that it has launched an entirely revamped, more responsive website. While the existing site had already served thousands of individuals in 64 countries, Ethica felt the growing shift towards mobile devices, particularly tablets and smart phones, necessitated a next generation adaptive site.
While the shift from classroom training to online training took several years to take hold, the shift from desktop training to handheld training has been far quicker. “People now learn everywhere. On the train, in the plane, at the conference. Many of our users are busy executives who spend much of their time on the move. Ethica wanted to continue delivering the best experience possible with an adaptive and responsive website,” said Ethica’s spokesperson.
The UK’s National Zakat Foundation Chief Executive, Iqbal Nasim, said, “Ethica Institute's new mobile site is a welcome development given the ever increasing proportion of Internet usage taking place via smart phones and tablets. Like me, I'm sure thousands of site users across the world will find its valuable information to be a lot more accessible.”
Among the new features of the heavily redesigned website are a responsive interface to fit the user’s device, including a widescreen desktop monitor, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone; corporate trials; and improved access to Ethica’s free 700 page “Handbook of Islamic Finance,” containing articles, questions and answers, the CIFE study guide, and an entire book, Meezan Bank’s Guide to Islamic Banking.
