Botox is a safe, quick and affordable treatment that will not radically alter your facial appearance.
Summit, NJ (PRWEB) October 31, 2013
Hardik Soni, M.D., Medical Director of the Ethos Spa Skin and Laser Centers has announced the addition of Botox treatments to minimize moderate to severe crow’s feet to existing Botox treatments available in both the Summit and Englewood, New Jersey Ethos spa locations.
Botox Cosmetic treatments have been approved by The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for frown lines between the eyebrows and around the mouth since 2002. In September of this year, the FDA expanded its approval of Botox treatments to minimize moderate to severe crow’s feet.
When provided by a small needle injection just below the skin, Botox makes wrinkles less prominent and promotes a smoother, more youthful facial appearance by reducing muscle activity in the face.
Botox Cosmetic is a protein, prepared from the bacteria Clostridium Botulinum, which blocks transmission of muscle activity from the nerve to the muscle. It has been used for decades for cosmetic procedures and is one of the most common, minimally invasive procedures available today. Patients can immediately return to their daily activities after treatments, with no downtime.
One Botox treatment takes only ten minutes or less, with visible results within days and continued improvement to the skin’s smooth appearance throughout the first month.
“Botox is a safe, quick and affordable treatment that will not radically alter your facial appearance," Soni says. "Patients are still able to make all of their facial expressions after each treatment, so the results always appear natural.
“It is the most commonly performed cosmetic treatment for achieving the tight, smooth, youthful-looking facial appearance that everyone wants to reclaim as the natural aging process contributes to the appearance of creases and wrinkles.“
Treatment for both frown lines and crow’s feet can be given at the same time. Clients require 24 units of Botox for treatment of moderate to severe crows feet. The average cost of this treatment is $300.
