The Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau is pleased to announce the third annual Women's Wellness Weekend and A Wee Bit O'Wine Weekend will take place on October 14-15, 2016. The event takes place at Mission Point Resort and tickets are available online or advance purchase.
"Our Women's Wellness Weekend is intended to let women learn more about healthy living while enjoying the beautiful backdrop of Mackinac Island and all it has to offer," Nicole Doud, a member of the organizing committee said. "In addition to our speakers, the weekend features several events including a wine reception, a local walking tour, and time to enjoy local spas, shopping and a night cruise through the Straits," Doud added.
Cassie Sobelton, a health expert and motivational speaker, is the keynote speaker. Sobelton is speaking on topics relating to wellness, health and balance, and promoting her book, "Getting Back to Balance." Sobelton looks forward to sharing her personal path to wellness, as well as simple ways that listeners can improve their health.
Ticket proceeds from this event will benefit Mackinac Island's Community Cancer Fund and can be purchased online at http://www.mynorthtickets.com.
