LA Movies in the Park Series to Show American Psycho in Griffith Park on July 19 With LA Food Trucks on Location and a Performance by LA Band yOya
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) July 14, 2014 -- Los Angeles movies in the park event series, Eat|See|Hear, will show the 2000 thriller, “American Psycho,” starring Christian Bale on Saturday, July 19, 2014, on the event lawn at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the evening will include a performance by LA band, yOya, at 7:00 p.m., with street food supplied by LA food trucks all evening to serve customers. Tickets are $10 in advance for adults. This movie is not recommended for children. All tickets may be purchased online through Eventbrite.
The Autry is located at 4700 Western Heritage Way in Los Angeles. The entrance for the event is located on the event lawn adjacent to the Autry Museum Building. Free parking is available across the street at the Los Angeles Zoo and ample bicycle parking is available on site as well.
The evening will include LA food trucks including Vchos, Arroy Foods, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Foodism, Azteca Truck, Wise BBQ, Slummin Gourmet, Crepe de Ville, Coolhaus, Brasil Kiss and more.
“The movie, ‘American Psycho,’ is great to watch with a crowd because it is so visceral and surprising,” said Sharon Sperber. “The Autry in Griffith Park is a great venue for this kind of film because so many people can attend and spread out on the event lawn. We recommend bringing blankets, cushions or pillows. Low beach chairs are okay, but high-backed or taller lawn chairs are not because they may block the view of others and will be required to sit off to the sides in a designated area.”
