Author announces release of new personal leadership book, ‘Everyday Resilience’

Valerie Orton’s “Everyday Resilience: Creating Calm from Chaos” (published by Balboa Press AU) is a new self-help book that contains practical tools and tips to build one’s resilience and resources to sustain one’s whole well-being. It contains seven themes which contribute toward resilience. Readers will find author stories, academic research and case studies that will help them create calm from chaos and manage change and stressors that impact daily life.

“Having spent many years studying and learning through personal development, my values, my strengths and what is important in life, I wanted to share and help others live a better life,” says Orton. “I have developed my own resilience through my own challenges and hardships and I want to help others create their own everyday resilience, so they have strategies and tools to move up and forward, to be able to respond in times of stress, disappointment and setbacks.”

“Everyday Resilience” offers ways to be mindful of the present, no matter their circumstances. Orton employs an easy-to-read style that encourages readers to figure out how they can live their lives to be more productive, happier and less stressed.
