Enhanced with a >15% increase in lumens, Evluma releases a higher-performance OmniMax LED replacement lamp for decorative streetlights. Integrating recent improvements in LED chip technology, the OmniMax product line expands options for municipal lighting specifiers and electrical contractors as they update streetlighting to LED. Evluma will begin shipping the new OmniMax at the close of July 2019.

Formally launched in 2017, Evluma successfully field-tested the OmniMax for over a year prior to widespread release in the US and Canada. Designed to easily screw in to post-top, tear-drop, or shoebox style light fixtures the OmniMax’s unique radial light engine uses the optics of the original fixture for maximum efficacy. This is the first family-wide lumen upgrade to be applied to the versatile lighting solution.

As part of Evluma’s line of outdoor LED lighting products, the OmniMax is offered with built-in Bluetooth connectivity and can be dimmed on the spot or via a pre-programmed schedule using Evluma’s ConnectLED app for wireless lighting controls. Offered in five different CCTs ranging from 2000K to 5000K municipal lighting projects can be customized to enhance historic or contemporary design objectives. For those customers not needing additional lumens, dimming to, or purchasing a lower wattage OmniMax can add predictable energy savings. The OmniMax carries a 10-year warranty, 20kv/10kA surge protection and active cooling, a pre-requisite for long life in enclosed decorative fixtures.
