The Lake Tahoe training, Advanced Earned Value Management Techniques, will take place on July 15 – 17, 2014 and the Chicago training, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) geared to newcomers and EVM practitioners will take place on August 27-29, 2014. Attendees earn 21 PDUs or 2.1 CEUs upon completion of these workshops.

Earned Value Management is required for defense industry projects larger than 20 million dollars and is being used in a increasingly wide range of industries including biotech and pharma.

The Lake Tahoe workshop, Advanced EVM Techniques is intended for individuals who already have working knowledge and practical field experience in earned value management (EVM). It provides the project management practitioner with new insight, methods, and approaches in assessing the technical, schedule, and cost health of a project, which results in better decision-making. The course includes a summary of performance measurement data elements and types of reporting, performance indices and trend information, and how to integrate technical, schedule, and performance measurement data for forecasting the schedule and cost outcome of the project. Registration closes July1, 2014. For more information on this July workshop and hotels click here.

The Chicago workshop is designed for newcomers to gain a solid foundation in earned value management systems (EVMS) or for earned value management (EVM) practitioners interested in enhancing their ability to effectively use performance data and keep up with the latest industry guidelines, government requirements, and EVMS issues. This workshop covers the five major categories in the ANSI/EIA-748 Standard for Earned Value Management Systems (the 32 guidelines), Organization, Planning, Scheduling, and Budgeting, Accounting Considerations, Analysis and Management Reports, Revisions and Data Maintenance. Registration closes July 14, 2014. For more information about this August workshop click here.

An additional 20% discount is available for early registration (45 days in advance of the start date of the workshops) or for corporate registrations of two or more attendees. Full payment is required at time of registration to take advantage of discount.
