Fadó Irish Pub in Center City is Set to Host the 1st Annual Craft Beer Festival Called “CRAFTernoon Delight” on October 13, 2013
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 03, 2013 -- The 1st Annual Fadó Irish Pub Crafternoon Delight kicks off at 2pm on Sunday, October 13 and Philadelphia beer lovers will bask in the hottest selection of local, regional and European craft beers. With 35+ brews on hand, from over 12 local craft and International breweries, Fadó, located on 15th and Locust in Center City has pulled out all the stops so that the average beer lover to the beer connoisseur will leave not only satisfied, but blown away by the unlimited sampling event. And like any great American craft beer festival, Fadó Irish Pub is offering the best of the best and never before tasted brews. Here’s a taste of some of the featured selections on the big day:
- The long-awaited double IPA from Victory - Dirt Wolf
- New Guinness Harvest Red beer
- New Game of Thrones beer from Ommegang
“At Fadó, we know how to throw a good party,” says Casey Neff, general manager at Fadó. “We’ve been doing it for 12 years. But, the other thing that our customers trust us to deliver on is good beer. And our 1st annual craft beer festival is all about the beer - and we believe that we have assembled the best craft brews out there right now.”
To start, the team assembled a top flight group of local, regional and International craft brewery sponsors for the afternoon unlimited sampling event.
At 2pm, the Unlimited Sampling Event kicks off and ticket holders will receive a wristband and 5 ounce sampling cups to maximize their 5 hour beer tasting adventure. The event will also feature Pub games, a glass etching station and Guinness adorers will have the opportunity to have a personalized Guinness glass. There will be a special menu available including bite size snacks such as Dublin Battered Sausage bites, Pretzel sticks, Ceilli Spuds and Scotch Eggs. Live music kicks off at 3pm with Eric & Coop.
The breweries are all showcasing their best brands and seasonal features to ensure that guests will enjoy a wide variety of beer styles and flavor profiles. According to the Craft Breweries Association, “American tastes are changing and the public wants choices and flavor and diversity in the category of brands that they buy. For example, Nielsen research confirmed that beer drinkers are shifting to more robust beer styles and seasonal beer is one of the top selling craft beer categories."
