This film festival is known for showcasing the newest Brazilian cinema, allowing the public to enjoy recognized Brazilian film industry professionals as well as new uprising talent. Since 2008, hundreds of films screened at LABRFF have gained critical recognition, received commercial distribution, and reached worldwide audiences.
“The LABRFF has always supported social initiatives to help improve the life of children and adults in need of care and education. The Brazilian film festival is excited to establish a unique partnership to raise awareness within the film community and attract supporters to the causes shared by the two institutions,” said Co-founder of LABRFF Nazareno Paulo. “Our biggest goal is to inform and engage the Brazilians about the upcoming Fame & Philanthropy events.”
As LABRFF partners with Fame & Philanthropy for the weekend of the Academy Awards, they hope to make just as big of a charitable difference in the world as Fame & Philanthropy strives to do. By working together both companies hope to do their part in making the world a better place.
