New Family Medicine Physician Joining Columbus Medical Team
Columbus, OH (PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- Family medicine physician Dr. Mark Hagen has joined OhioHealth’s Columbus medical team to accept new patients of all ages for preventative and primary care. He will see patients at Family Medicine North at 1930 Crown Park Court in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Hagen, a graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, said his interest in family medicine started at a young age.
“I have been interested in the medical field since being a teenager, as I had personal experience with family doctors and with care of the entire family” he said. “It quickly became a passion of mine.”
In his role with Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians, Dr. Hagen will provide medical care for most conditions including heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and flu-like symptoms. Additionally, he will perform manipulation to help relieve and even cure common musculoskeletal complaints. He has a special interest in men’s health, as well as adolescent health.
“My training has taught me to focus on wellness, prevention of preventable diseases such as heart disease and stroke, as well as chronic disease management such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol” he said. “I will also see patients for acute visits that come about.”
Dr. Hagen enjoys caring for all age groups from young to old and strives to establish long-lasting, trusting relationships with his patients as well as whole person care.
“I am trained in a holistic approach to patient care, care of the whole person” he said.
