Sixth Annual Savor the Hope Gala to Take on the Roaring Twenties
League City, TX (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 -- Devereux Texas is transporting Houston back to the 1920s at the Sixth Annual Savor the Hope Gala. This Great Gatsby-themed night, which takes place Feb. 27 at Hotel ZaZa, features delicious food, exciting auctions and toe-tapping live music. The proceeds will benefit Devereux Texas.
The event honors the Deacons of Deadwood Motorcycle Club for their generous contributions to Devereux and other children’s charities throughout the Houston area. Devereux Texas Executive Director Pamela Reed said she looks forward to the chance to recognize the worthy group.
“Much of what we do wouldn’t be possible without their generosity,” said Reed. “The Deacons have gone above and beyond to help not just Devereux, but many organizations improve services and bring change to the young lives we serve. They truly deserve this award.”
Savor the Hope benefits the children in Devereux’s care. With foster care services, residential programs, vocational programs and more, Devereux empowers children and adolescents with intellectual, emotional, developmental and behavioral challenges to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.
