Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping Gets Parker’s Students Healthy and in Shape
Parker, CO (PRWEB) October 25, 2014 -- Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping’s high school program was launched this past spring with Legend High School and just started back up for the new school year. Farrell’s donates their time and coaches by offering PE classes during school, as well as after-school classes for the athletes preparing for their respective seasons to kick off. Farrell’s is working closely with Legend’s PE teacher, football, wrestling and cheerleading coaches and offers a unique approach using martial arts based classes to get the kids into shape.
“Cross training is so important for high school athletes today. Farrell's provides cross training, core training, and strength training in a team building atmosphere for high school athletes,” said Legend High School’s principal, Jason Jacob.
Farrell’s owner and head coach, Chad Davis said, “If we work with them when they are young, they will have so many more opportunities in life to do what they want. The program isn't just about producing better athletes, but helping kids gain the confidence to achieve whatever it is they want in life. It could be about riding a bicycle or losing weight, it doesn't matter; our program is here to make a difference in these kids’ lives.”
Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping offers a 10-week program which combines four essential elements needed to make changes in one’s body shape: cardiovascular exercise to burn fat, strength training to build muscle, a nutrition plan to help one eat healthy and instructors and coaches to keep clients encouraged throughout the journey.
