Living in Digital Times Presents FashionWare Runway Show at the 2014 International CES
New York, NY (PRWEB) December 04, 2013 -- Technology makes a fashion statement in a big way when Living in Digital Times presents the FashionWare live runway fashion show at the 2014 International CES®. The show and cocktail party will take place on January 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC).
You’ll want a front row seat as designers from all over the world take their high tech statements to the new world of fashion tech. The intersection of fashion and technology can be found in products like a stylish LED skirt powered by motion sensors, functional accessories like texting gloves, clothing that adjusts to the outdoor temperature, solar-charging handbags, sensor-controlled jewelry and accessories, smart glasses, smart watches, custom 3D printed items and more. The latest in embedded and wearable technologies will be on display.
“Up and coming designers are making wearable technology accessible to the average consumer,” said Julie Sylvester, co-producer of the show. “Tech has become as much a personal fashion statement as it has a functional part of life; the innovation is incredible.”
“FashionWare is a wake-up call to the fashion industry,” said Robin Raskin, founder of Living in Digital Times. “Whether it’s 3D printers used to create your own accessories, fabrics that change color based on your own body temperature, or glasses that let you augment your world, the fashion world is about to enter a renaissance thanks to technology.”
In addition to the FashionWare live runway show, the fashions will be on display in the FashionWare TechZone during CES. Both the event and TechZone will feature new technologies and products from Adidas, Erogear, FashionTeq, Kapture, Memoto, Phone Halo, Reflx labs, Wellograph and Vert. In addition, new designers will reveal their stunning innovative looks. Some highlights include:
Amy Winters, Rainbow Winters
Billie Whitehouse, Wearable Experiments (We:eX)
