Fastenal, North America’s Largest Fastener Distributor, Joins the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance as an Innovator Sponsor

Fastenal provides valuable Safety Training and a tour of their 200,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center to Georgia Manufacturing Alliance members on April 9th.

The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance had a banner year in 2018 and continues to expand its reach by adding new members and sponsors in the first quarter of 2019. Fastenal, North America’s largest fastener distributor and an efficient single source for 30 product categories, has come onboard as an Innovator Sponsor and will be a valuable resource in providing products for the OEM (original equipment manufacturer), MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), and construction industries.

On April 9th, Fastenal will host the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance for a tour of their 200,000 sq. ft. distribution and warehouse facility in Atlanta. Attendees will get a behind the scenes look into their Distribution Center and learn how Fastenal has grown 600% over 15 years in this facility through a $10 million investment in distribution automation technology.

Also on April 9th , they will provide an Educational Lunch and Learn on Safety in the Workplace, which will explore:

  • Who/What is OSHA
  • OSHA’s top 10 most cited violations
  • General safety in the workplace (PPE, respiratory, signage, first aid)
