The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance had a banner year in 2018 and continues to expand its reach by adding new members and sponsors in the first quarter of 2019. Fastenal, North America’s largest fastener distributor and an efficient single source for 30 product categories, has come onboard as an Innovator Sponsor and will be a valuable resource in providing products for the OEM (original equipment manufacturer), MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations), and construction industries.
Supported by the company’s global sourcing and logistics resources, each of Fastenal’s 56 Georgia branch locations and 27 Georgia onsite customer locations tailors its inventory and service to meet the unique needs of local customers. Fastenal’s product offering is complemented by a spectrum of services, specialists and solutions, including custom manufacturing; various industrial services; expert consultants in the areas of engineering, Lean Six Sigma, safety, and metalworking; and a suite of supply chain technology, including the world’s most widely used industrial vending program.
