Embassy Suites Seattle-Bellevue Starts Their New Holiday Tradition
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- The Embassy Suites Seattle-Bellevue starts a new tradition with its first annual holiday festival of trees on December 18 that honors the giving spirit of the season. A total of seven local non-profit organizations will participate in the hotel’s Festival of Trees, a charitable event sponsored by the hotel and other Seattle and Bellevue-area businesses.
Each non-profit organization will decorate a Christmas tree, many of which are donated by select partner businesses. The trees will be on display 24/7 in the hotel’s atrium for seven weeks. Local Seattle and Bellevue residents and hotel guests are invited to view the decorated trees and give donations on behalf of the participating charities’ trees. There is no charge to visit the display, and parking is free. The tree with the largest monetary donations will receive an additional $1,000 gift from the Embassy Suites Seattle Bellevue hotel.
"I can’t think of a more wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season than providing a way to support these organizations at this special time of year," said Riccardo Marossa, Director of Sales and Marketing. "It’s also a great opportunity to invite the public to see how flexible our Atrium is and the many recent improvements that have been made to the Embassy Suites Seattle Bellevue."
On the third Wednesday of December, the hotel’s nightly Evening Reception* will transform into a Private Gala Reception for the charitable organizations. Local choirs, musicians, and performing arts organizations will provide entertainment. Fine foods and holiday spirits will be served to hotel guests and the members of the participating charities and local businesses. The General Manager, Mr. Louis Haslett will be present to award the recipients the donations collected as well as the $1,000 grand prize from the Embassy Suites Seattle Bellevue hotel.
The trees will be on display for donations from November 29 through January 5th. For more information visit: http://www.wcghotels.com/bellevue-seattle-hotel/festival-of-trees/ or contact Riccardo Marossa at 425-698-6685.
