Fifth Annual Supporting Underprivileged Americans, Inc. (S.U.P.A., Inc.) Career Day and Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway Rally #SupaInc #SupaCareerDay #BackPackGiveAway
LAS VEGAS (PRWEB) July 25, 2018 -- WHAT: S.U.P.A., Inc. #SupaInc in collaboration with Sunrise Children’s Foundation presents its fifth annual Career Day and Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway Rally. In addition to giving away 200 backpacks, and school supplies, there will also be food, free haircuts donated by Mr. Barber NLV and motivation speaker Vital Germaine!
WHO: We have combined a career day in addition to the backpack drive, to not only give underprivileged children what supplies they need but to also make an IMPACT! The speakers will be giving them insight into the choices they have made which lead to their successes, but also their failures. This will allow the children to gain a full understanding of how important decision-making is. Hopefully, some of the careers being presented may also spark the interest of children to want to go into that respective field. “S.U.P.A., Inc., Career Day #SupaCareerDay event is to help students realize the importance of choosing a career based on interests and personality style,” said Lynne Jasames, Executive Director, S.U.P.A., Inc.
WHERE: Sunrise Children’s Foundation, 2795 East Desert Inn Road, Suite 200, Las Vegas, NV 89121
WHEN: Sunday, August 5th, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
WHY: “Children should have every opportunity to succeed in the classroom, not be held back by circumstances over which they have no control. I believe equipping children with the proper supplies and tools, will make the academic year ahead of them a successful one,” said Patrick Clark, Founder, S.U.P.A., Inc.
We understand the mental and emotional toll it takes on students, on the first day of school. When they compare themselves with other students who have the proper tools and they don’t. Not only does this affect their academics, but also affects their confidence. We want to maximize their potential and eliminate every excuse possible. To ensure the best opportunity for them to focus on their education. We have gotten away from the village mind state, that it takes a whole village to raise a child. S.U.P.A., Inc. wants to put that mentality back into the community. And it starts with us!
