Pixel Film Studios Released a New ProIntro Lesson Exclusively for Final Cut Pro X

Each ProIntro preset has unique customizable parameters that give Final Cut users complete control over the overlay, colors, & title orientation.
The ProIntro Lesson video from Pixel Film Studios allows Final Cut Pro X users to learn how to add clean and professional titles to their films. With 30 pre-animated intro titles, users can simply place one over a clip and add their text. ProIntro comes in several volumes each with its own unique style. For this example, we are going to use the simple and classy designs featured in ProIntro Volume 1.
The user will begin by selecting a clip in the FCPX media library and dragging it to the timeline. Once the footage is in the timeline, go to the FCPX titles library to locate the ProIntro presets. Scan through the presets and select the one that best matches the desired look. Then drag the adjustment layer above the clip on the Final Cut Pro X timeline and make it the same length as the clip. Now that our timeline is set up, the user is instructed to customize the look of the intro.
Select the title layer in the timeline. Use the On-Screen controls in the Viewer window to position, rotate and scale the graphic. Next, use the Overlay Controls to adjust the color and opacity of the background. Some intros will have more Overlay options depending on their look.
Once users have a background ready, use the Camera controls to adjust the zooming animation.Click the “Edit Mode” checkbox at the top of the FCPX Inspector window. This will allow users to select the text in the Viewer. If the user double clicks and selects a line of the title, the Text tab of the Inspector window will open. In here, users can adjust the font, size and color of the title. Repeat this step with the other lines of the intro. When done, uncheck the edit mode checkbox in the Inspector window.
Now, for some additional information, some of the ProIntro titles come with a drop zone placeholder that can be used to add a logo. To fill this drop zone, go to FCPX media library and select an image to use as company’s logo. Drag the image into the timeline beneath the title layer and make it the same length. Move the playhead to the first frame of the title layer and select it in the timeline. Click on the drop zone placeholder in the Inspector. Then select the image as close to the beginning as possible, and click the blue "Apply Clip" button in the FCPX Viewer window. Once the Logo is in the Drop Zone, the user can discard the image by deleting or disabling it in the timeline by pressing “V” on the keyboard.
