First Utility launches cheapest fixed energy tariff through to 2016
London (PRWEB UK) 6 September 2013 -- 5 September 2013: As the UK prepares for rising energy prices this winter, First Utility has launched the cheapest long term fixed energy tariff through to 2016 offering customers the chance to freeze their prices for longer.
First Utility’s iSave Fixed v10 gives customers extended peace of mind until January 2016. It will cost the average dual fuel energy household £1,274 a year.
The competitive new tariff follows the recent warning from experts that energy prices are likely to rise by between five and ten per cent this autumn ahead of the increased usage over winter.
Ed Kamm, CMO of First Utility, said:
“As energy costs continue to rise, we’re determined to protect customers from escalating bills as best we can. That’s why we’ve launched our new long-term fixed deal offering the cheapest fixed price tariff through to 2016.”
“As the UK’s largest independent energy supplier, we feel a responsibility to challenge the energy market status quo and ensure we are offering hard pressed consumers the most competitive deals possible. The launch of iSave Fixed v10 is our latest step to drive on-going competitive pricing for the benefit of UK consumers.”
First Utility aims to deliver a better way for consumers to engage with energy companies by focusing on great value tariffs and helping customers reduce their energy usage.
iSave Fixed v10 is available to new and existing customers through the First Utility website, switching sites and selected partners of First Utility.
