First National Bank of Santa Fe Congratulates Fred Bernson on Promotion to Senior Vice President, Commercial and SBA Lending
Santa Fe, NM (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- First National Bank of Santa Fe is pleased to announce the promotion of Fred Bernson to Senior Vice President of Commercial and SBA Lending. Fred has over 45 years of experience in Banking and Financial Services with a particular focus in commercial and SBA lending. Throughout his career, Fred has been recognized as a top producer in SBA loan volume and in 2012 he was honored as an SBA 504 Rising Star Lender by the Enchantment Land Certified Development Company (ELCDC).
Fred joined First National Bank of Santa Fe in 2011 to develop a new SBA, Secondary Market and apartment loan program at the Bank. Under Fred’s leadership, the program has now been expanded to include Bank of the Rio Grande in Las Cruces and Albuquerque, NM, a sister bank in the Strategic Growth Bancorp (SGB) family of community banks.
Originally from Chicago, IL, Fred has lived in New Mexico for 25 years. He received a BS in Pre-law from the University of Oregon and attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and Ohio State University Senior Management Banking School. Fred holds a New Mexico Real Estate Broker’s License and is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM). He is also a member of the Albuquerque Sales and Economic Growth Association (ASEGA) and the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico (CARNM).
