Emily Johnson, owner of the Portland Fit Body Boot Camp, is hosting a Grand Opening event at her new facility, on June 13, 1423 SE 23rd Ave Portland, Ore. 97214. From 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. the event will feature boot camp demonstrations, transformation stories, live presentations, and over $4,000 in prizes and giveaways.

Fit Body Boot Camp is the world’s fastest growing and most popular indoor fitness boot camp brand, with hundreds of locations worldwide. The boot camp’s unique brand of fitness combines individualized personal training from licensed professionals, clinically proven Afterburn workouts, and nutritional guidance to guarantee weight loss results.

Portland Fit Body Boot Camp has been servicing community members for four years. Yet because of rising popularity and overwhelming support from the community, Johnson decided to move out of her previous location and into a new facility accessible enough to offer 47 boot camp sessions each week— more than twice the previous schedule.

This Grand Opening commemorates the launch of the new location and celebrates the successes of those who have been training with Johnson and her Boot Camp for the past four years.

“I'm so excited to celebrate the opening of our new facility,” said Johnson, “and our expanded session times where we will be able serve more Portland residents and change more lives. I am very proud of the community that we have built at Fit Body Boot Camp and I believe that we have created a truly special place where anyone, no matter their fitness background or fitness level, can come and use fitness as a vehicle to better themselves.”

While commemorating the Grand Opening and encouraging residents to workout at the new fitness boot camp, a raffle at the event will also raise funds for the local nonprofit organization Medical Teams International. This fundraising effort, combined with Johnson’s recent grant of $1,435 to local physical education programs, will result in a combined charitable contribution of many thousands of dollars.

Johnson is encouraging anyone from the Portland area to come check out the event and discover firsthand how Portland Fit Body Boot Camp changes lives.

“Our goal,” said Johnson, “is to always contribute to our client's growth as a person using fitness as a vehicle to do so. I believe we provide something wonderful by teaching our clients that moving and expanding their bodies’ capabilities should actually be an enjoyable experience.”
