...it’s frustrating to make the time to exercise only to be let down by malfunctioning machines! I’m ready to provide a solution to this – there are many opportunities to help people experience a better workout!

Fitness Machine Technicians, specialists in the maintenance and repair of exercise equipment for commercial and residential customers, announced it will open in Cleveland and the greater western suburbs today. Kevin Bracy of Avon will own and manage the local office.

Fitness Machine Technicians operates in more than 70 markets across the country and offers service/repair and maintenance on a variety of exercise equipment in fitness centers, universities, high schools, hotels, apartment complexes, corporate gyms and private residences.

A seasoned entrepreneur in the consulting world who shared straightforward, forthright solutions with his clients, Bracy looks forward to bringing the same service and quality to his new customers with Fitness Machine Technicians – a venture he sought to challenge himself and break into a new industry locally.

Originally from Sandusky, Bracy received his Master of Science in computer engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Throughout his career as a management and technology consultant, he helped build and grow companies from the ground-up. After many years in the industry, Bracy looked into new business opportunities and found Fitness Machine Technicians – a chance to bring a professional service to an area abundant in universities, hotels, and apartment complexes.

A member of his son’s Cub Scout Pack Committee, Bracy states, “In my travels, I enjoy being able to take time to go down to the hotel gym and exercise, but oftentimes, I’ve found equipment to be out of order or unusable – it’s frustrating to make the time to exercise only to be let down by malfunctioning machines! I’m ready to provide a solution to this – there are many opportunities to help people experience a better workout!”

Bracy will hire a technician locally and plans to hire several more as the business grows. All technicians are trained at Fitness Machine Technicians’ headquarters in Philadelphia.

Since its inception, Fitness Machine Technicians has been committed to delivering reliable service/repair and preventive maintenance services to customers across the nation. With more than 35 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Chief Executive and Founder Don Powers created a company that puts its customers first.

Powers notes, “We have a strong presence in Ohio, and I’m thrilled to have Kevin lead our office in Western Cleveland – he has a great deal of experience managing teams and working with clients – a great fit for our company.”
