The popular fitness marketing blog, PTPower.com, has just published a brand new article written by the successful fitness sales expert Samantha Taylor on the top seven tips to help personal trainers sell more fitness programs and ultimately grow their business.
Taylor’s guest article entitled “7 Tips To Sell More Personal Training Programs,” out now at PTPower.com includes lots of specific information geared towards personal trainers who struggle with selling their fitness programs or those that just need a little sales direction.

In the article, Taylor gives solid advice on what it is that personal trainers should concentrate on when selling their fitness programs like how to ask potential clients the right questions and what to do with the information they give. She says it’s what you do with the information that makes all the difference. “LISTEN to your potential clients – don’t just hear what they’re saying. Listen to them and say, “Tell me more about that…” or “How does that make you feel?”
Taylor also goes over why it is important for fitness professionals to be good salespeople as well as excellent personal trainers in order to achieve success. She says, “One BIG aspect to being good at sales is having a positive outlook on it. To be successful, you can’t view sales as a ‘bad thing’. One of the biggest challenges I see after being in this industry over 20 years is that most personal trainers are great at training but they hate the sales or business part; hence, their business suffers.”
