Miniter Group today announced it will be holding a webinar on November 18, 2014 regarding  FDIC and Force-Placed Flood Compliance. 2014 has brought much confusion to loan servicers with regard to flood insurance. The Implementation of Biggert-Waters was interrupted by The 2014 Homeowner Flood Insurance Affordability Act. In addition The FDIC and other regulators have offered mixed messages to lenders regarding force-placed flood regulation. This webinar aims to help clarify some of this confusion and present FDIC examination insight relative to force-placed flood insurance. In addition it will discuss how to efficiently notify borrowers of SFHA map changes.

According to Jim Gilpin, EVP of Business Development at Miniter Group:

"This webinar will describe the common issues that loan servicers are experiencing since the implementation of both Biggert-Waters and The Homeowners Flood Insurance Affordability Act with regard to force-placed flood insurance. It is also focused on providing a compliance based explanation of your force-placed flood insurance program for your auditors and regulators."
