Ernest McCarty Ford has been confirmed as a sponsor of the upcoming Alabaster CityFest. Alabaster CityFest is an annual event aimed to promote family-fun and art education, and Ernest McCarty Ford has been a major sponsor for 14 years in a row.

Ernest McCarty Ford is excited to announce its sponsorship of the annual Alabaster CityFest, a family-friendly arts festival scheduled for June 4, 2016. This year marks the fourteenth anniversary of the annual event, and Ernest McCarty Ford has been a major sponsor every year since the beginning.

The Alabaster Arts Council hosts several events year round, but Alabaster CityFest is their primary fundraiser, promoting the arts and raising funds to provide resources to local schools and organizations. Ernest McCarty Ford is proud to help expand opportunities for local children to experience and appreciate art.

Alabaster CityFest features live concerts, vendors selling arts and crafts, kid's activities and food. The KidsFest area offers rides, inflatables, live music, magic shows, The Flying K-9s dog show, a Lowe's Build-It workshop and healthy eating demonstrations. For a small fee, kids can also ride a horse or try bungee jumping.

Musicians and bands are scheduled to perform on two different stages throughout the day. Performers include Koa, The Phil Dudley Band, Michael Warren, The M-80s, Kate and the Howlers, Divine Destiny, Sanchez Tannehill, Terry Padgett as Elvis and more.

One of the top attractions of the event is the Cruise-in Car Show from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon. All vehicle years, makes and models are welcome to join in the fun, with registration available onsite on the day of the event for only $10 per vehicle. The first 35 entrants to register will receive official T-shirts, and any registrant could win a door prize awarded every hour.
