Fashion House for Love & Lemons Launches Third Line, “KNITZ,” for Pre-Fall 14’ Starring Muse Stella Maxwell
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- KNITZ is the third line to come from For Love & Lemons, making FL&L a destination for multiple occasions. Co-founders Laura Hall & Gillian Mahin started For Love & Lemons as a ready-to-wear line from their hometown of Jackson Hole, WY. FL&L recently reached their five-year mark as a brand and already have three lines within the fashion house. FL&L launched their lingerie line, SKIVVIES by For Love & Lemons, their second line, in Fall 13’. Only one year later, the fashion house brings fans a line created for comfort and wearability. This collection is full of unique textures, artworks, and colors.
The designers at FL&L used intarsia to create the artwork in this collection, engineering the artwork to the body. The pieces use high quality yarns, including angora & cashmere. A few of the yarns were actually hand painted in studio. Just like the ready to wear line, FL&L has a wide variety of pieces in each collection that stay true to their esthetic. KNITZ has over fifty different pieces, including jumpsuits, pants, and their usual addition of body suits, crop sweaters, and dresses.
KNITZ will hit stores July 15th and the public will get their first look on June 23rd. Stella Maxwell was chosen as the muse for this collection not only for her striking features, but her rocker edge. The look book was shot by photographer Zoey Grossman and styled by Ashley Glorioso.
