Former Coast Guard Rescue Swimmer Investigates Mysterious Deaths in New Suspense Thriller
LEAWOOD, Kan. (PRWEB) May 03, 2019 -- Following the deaths of a chemist and his daughter, Cable Wheeler is called to investigate, and despite his inexperience, he may be the only one capable of ending the bloodshed in Al Butkus’ new action adventure novel, “Woman in the Pin-Striped Suit: A Novel” (published by Archway Publishing).
Wheeler, a former Coast Guard rescue swimmer, becomes the unlikely problem solver for a squad of military vets as they try to save the lives of an Iowa family being sought by a group of Wall Street money men, a sleazy Texas politician and a tenacious long-haired blonde in a pin-striped suit. The three Iowa siblings hold the future of their father’s dream in their hands while the woman in the pin-striped suit is out to prove a woman can shake up the good-ole-boys world, and do it her way.
“The tale is a single reminder of how important family is and that do the right things is its own reward,” Butkus says, adding that “People today in drawn to wholesome story as theirs days are buffeted by a divided almost hostile environment.”
