Elastic Path Named as a Strong Performer in Enterprise B2C Commerce by Independent Research Firm
(PRWEB) January 13, 2015 -- Elastic Path Software Inc., an ecommerce company helping the world’s biggest brands generate more revenue, has been recognized as a Strong Performer by Forrester Research, Inc. in its latest industry evaluation, “The Forrester Wave™: B2C Commerce Suites, Q1 2015”. The report finds that Elastic Path was included among five vendors offering “competitive options,” and the solution received the second highest scores (tied) for product strategy & roadmap, as well as cost of ownership.
For this publication, Forrester Research selected and evaluated 11 of the most significant software providers of enterprise-class B2C commerce suites, all of whom were able to demonstrate:
- A significant focus on – and market presence in – enterprise B2C commerce solutions
- Native products or partnerships in support of Forrester’s definition of a “commerce suite”
- A profitable or stable business with at least $20 million in revenues and client momentum
- Mindshare among the Forrester client base
In recognition of its ability to “simplify the integration of Elastic Path into complex multi-vendor technology ecosystems,” the solution was awarded the highest possible score for its Integration and Commerce API capabilities. The company was also cited as unique for creating a “dedicated version” that uses the Adobe AEM product for all aspects of experience delivery. For this reason, the report states that Elastic Path is “a good fit for firms that already own or are considering Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for their corporate experience delivery layer.”
“In our opinion, it’s an honor to be recognized as such a key player in the enterprise commerce space,” said Matt Dion, VP Marketing at Elastic Path. “We’re especially proud to have received the highest possible score for our Integration and Commerce API capabilities, as well as to be noted for the ‘dedicated version’ of our product that we built for users of Adobe Marketing Cloud. Our priority has always been to give innovative businesses a more flexible, modern, experience-driven, and future-proof alternative to traditional ecommerce platforms from the IT mega-vendors. We believe that this very positive evaluation from Forrester reflects the success of our strategy.”
