Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) June 07, 2016
Fort Lauderdale Insurance Services has unveiled a new charity campaign in their ongoing community enrichment program serving the families of Fort Lauderdale and surrounding communities. Angels & Warriors is a nonprofit organization which offers funds and support for local families battling childhood cancer. Readers wishing to help neighbors during their most difficult times may now contribute to the campaign through: http://angels-warriors.org/.
Angels & Warriors was born out of two families’ struggle with childhood cancer, and their desire to help others dealing with this most challenging situation. Three year old Sophia – the angel in Angels & Warriors – died from a rare form of leukemia. Seven year old Orly – the warrior in Angels & Warriors – battles Burkitt Lymphoma. The overwhelming love and support their mothers received in their time of need inspired them to create an organization which would provide hope and assistance to other families, striving to ease their everyday financial concerns and maintain stability in order that they might more effectively care for their children.
“Childhood cancer has taken all too many innocent angels from us, and families fighting the good fight need the help and support of our entire community,” attested Mark Burke, owner of Fort Lauderdale Insurance Services. “We truly believe that helping those in need is an essential basis for building a stronger future for our community. That’s why we’re so pleased to be partnering with Angels and Warriors.”
Utilizing its own resources and seeking the help of its own network of customers and business partners, Fort Lauderdale Insurance marches on to ensure customers, friends and neighbors are always in good hands. Social media and an email awareness campaign will be used to help the agency’s caring team to spread the word about the Angels & Warriors. They have also featured the cause in their monthly magazine, Our Hometown, which is delivered to thousands of households in and around Fort Lauderdale. The electronic version of the current issue may be viewed here: http://www.flinsuranceservices.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
Supporting their latest Community Cause has never been easier, as Fort Lauderdale Insurance has pledged to donate $10 to Angels & Warriors for each and every recommendation they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Readers who would like to view the campaign, recommend a friend and/or make a personal donation may do so here: http://www.flinsuranceservices.com/Support-Our-Little-Warriors-Battling-Cancer_14_community_cause.
The agency recently launched their master charity program, promising to select a new local organization, family or person every two months to receive support.
