Martinez Insurance Group Continues Community Charity Involvement by Supporting the Children’s Harbor Organization for Foster Siblings

Martinez Insurance Group, a full service insurance company serving the greater Miami area, is announcing the continuation of their ongoing community improvement effort, this time by raising funds that will be used to support Children’s Harbor, a local charity that serves siblings in foster care.

The Children’s Harbor non-profit organization operates out of southern Miami, and is dedicated to ensuring that siblings in the foster system are able to stay together. The mission of Children’s Harbor is to keep families united by seeking stable foster care environments where brothers and sisters, as well as foster teens and their babies, are not separated from one another. Children’s Harbor has gone as far as to build homes for foster children and their siblings on their idyllic eight acre campus, offering families in the foster care system have a safe and secure setting to grow up in.

“Family is everything, and the work Children’s Harbor is doing to keep families together throughout our community is absolutely worthy of our support,” says Ernie Martinez, owner and manager of Martinez Insurance Group. “This charity drive will help raise funds to purchase beds, furniture, and personal items that will be used by Children’s Harbor, and we hope everyone can pitch in and help us out.”

Drawing from an extensive list of contacts, Martinez Insurance Group is actively seeking donations from friends, neighbors, families, and clients throughout Broward County. Support is also being gathered online via social media channels that are attracting donations from all across Florida.

In addition to assisting Children’s Harbor in their mission to keep families together, Martinez and his team have launched an ongoing charity campaign that has involved a number of local charities in and around the Pembroke Pines area. From here forward, Martinez himself has committed to finding and supporting at least one new local charity every two months.
