Today, The Brown Group Worldwide LLC has teamed up with Jazz-Hip Hop group, Fountain of Youth for a PR project in the New England area. Fountain of Youth consists of three hip hop MCs, Phacade, Jeffrey ILL, and Chin who deliver a classic combination of old school hip hop and jazz. Phacade expresses the combination embodying a fresh breath of air to the genre of hip hop. “The Fountain of Youth came from the concept of how our music speaks to people. Seriously, a fountain of youth is self-replenishing and refreshing, similar to our music and the vibes we deliver to the public.” said Phacade.

Phacade, a Somerville, MA native, has been captured by hip hop since the 90s Golden Era. His love affair with Hip-Hop’s rhythmic beats, legendary reputation, lyricism, to its impact on his life has created his specialty in wordplay and intellect. From Phacade listening and studying Hip-Hop, to freestyling on the corner blocks and recording singles and mixtapes, he has transitioned from a young hip hop fan to a mature Hip-Hop MC. It’s no façade that Phacade embodies the brain of Fountain of Youth.

J ILL, of Malden, MA has gotten involved in Hip-Hop by testing his rap abilities with syncing Hip-Hop’s old school roots with today’s Hip-Hop style. The combination of the two styles has developed his clever wordplay and smooth delivery, attracting both the old school and the new school. His influences are artists such as Drake and J Cole due to their lyricism and versatility. J Ill’s experience in mixing and mastering has caused him to endlessly craft song after song. There’s no question J ILL is the suave style of Fountain of Youth.

Chin, a Malden, MA native, has connected to Hip-Hop culture through his talent in graffiti art. After aspiring and mastering graffiti art, and has developed an interest in Hip-Hop. His interest has evolved from spray painting, canvas drawing, and designing album covers, to equipping himself with rapid delivery, wordplay, and endless punchlines. Undoubtedly, Chin is the artistic mastermind of Fountain of Youth.

This year, Fountain of Youth and The Brown Group will feature the Hip-Hop group in live performances, articles, and a planned regional campaign. Fountain of Youth also plans on injecting Hip-Hop junkies with doses of old school and new school Hip-Hop in a much anticipated, album very soon.
