France brings a wealth of experience in growing successful companies to boodleAI. He was on the founding team of MAG Aerospace and also served as MAG's CSO, leading corporate strategy, branding/marketing, corporate development, and innovation efforts throughout the company's 8 year growth. He helped drive expansion from a startup to a 1,200+ employee company with operations across 45 locations on 6 continents. During his tenure he oversaw 5 bolt-on acquisitions and 2 recapitalizations totaling $475M in combined value.
France was also on the founding team of a successful law firm. Since it opened 10 years ago, Fluet Huber + Hoang, PLLC has assisted over 1,000 clients, growing from a handful of high performance lawyers to a mid-size firm with more than 25 practicing attorneys. At FH+H, France has counseled and advised entrepreneurial teams on formation, growth, and exits. He also created a successful co-working space for lawyers in the DC area.
As a young boy, France and his family were Vietnamese refugees evacuated from Saigon just days before it fell to communist forces in the last days of the Vietnam War. Prior to MAG, France was appointed by President George W. Bush as an Associate White House Counsel and Special Assistant to the President. Shortly after leaving the White House, France mobilized in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM where he served as the Executive Officer of a U.S. Army Special Forces Company in Afghanistan. France graduated in the academic top 1% of his West Point class, received a Master's in Criminal Justice from Washburn University, and graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
France has been engaged in philanthropic giving and fundraising while serving on the boards of several nonprofits: Marymount University (higher education), Stimson Center (a think tank), Bunker Labs (a veteran service organization), and the Greater Washington Board of Trade (commerce). He also served as a Distinguished Visiting Lecturer at West Point, where he taught law classes and lectured on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence.
