Francie Rossi’s Heartwarming Memoir Immortalizes Rossi Family
San Diego (PRWEB) March 05, 2014 -- Francie Rossi shares “Memories from the Heart: Family, Love, and Survival” (published by iUniverse), an inspirational memoir with a splash of humor depicting the many tender memories Rossi has of her life from birth to age 17 as the 11th of 12 children.
Rossi shares 100 vibrant stories describing heartwarming moments shared and observations made about her mother, father and siblings, telling of her family’s survival through obstacles, her own eating disorder, a struggle with a seizure disorder called epilepsy and financial struggles, among many other topics.
An excerpt from “Memories from the Heart”:
“The doctor explained: ‘Even though all the tests came back negative, you did have seizures at home. Therefore, you have a seizure disorder, also called epilepsy. It can be treated with medication. It is very important that you don’t tell anybody … If you do, you’ll never finish school, you’ll never get a job, and you’ll never get anywhere in life.’”
Rossi’s message to readers is that in spite of challenges, dreams and goals can be accomplished. “Love is the foundation to life,” she writes. “Despite all odds, follow your dreams. Naysayers be gone!”
