The Real Estate Marketing Insider releases its weekly “Local Spotlight” feature, this week profiling a philanthropic realtor based in Florida. REMI’s Local Spotlight feature was announced following a June 27 Inman News article titled, “Sell ‘em with Las Vegas-style marketing.”

The Real Estate Marketing Insider announced the publication of its weekly “Local Spotlight” feature, profiling an innovative and exciting realtor from a non-major market. This week’s Local Spotlight featured Frank McKinney, whose ultra-luxury realty practice centers around philanthropy and Vegas-style real estate advertising.

McKinney was recently profiled in a June 27 article in the Inman News entitled “Sell ‘em with Las Vegas-style marketing.” The feature introduced some aspects of McKinney’s business, which caters to ultra-wealthy buyers with lavish ultra-luxury properties. While McKinney’s core market is small, even the wealthy market that frequents beachfront home rentals may find his properties beyond their reach. His success, in his view, hinges on a few different aspects of his marketing strategy. Among them are philanthropy (which includes his Caring House Project Foundation), unique and innovative housing designs, and the extremely lavish housing events that showcase his properties. The marketing events at McKinney’s mansions have included such themes as Bastille Day, Oscar Night, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many others. These events involve intense planning and “professionally choreographed symphonies of the senses.” The proceeds of these marketing events are donated to his charity. These meticulously-planned, high-price galas yield results. For instance, very recently McKinney sold a $15.5 million-dollar property in less than two months, and a $19 million-dollar property in just over three weeks.

REMI advises realtors to take a close look at McKinney’s practice, which has found success with a small and discerning client base. The Insider believes that no matter what a realtor’s home market, they can take some lessons from McKinney. The success of his realty and marketing strategies make clear the importance of developing a realtor personality, choosing interesting and enticing properties, and making real estate fun for prospective buyers. While agents might not be able to match McKinney’s high-budget events, a little creativity can work the same idea of immersive, entertaining marketing campaigns into any real estate office.

The Real Estate Marketing Insider’s weekly “Local Spotlight” featured a Florida realtor, Frank McKinney, who specializes in ultra-luxury properties. REMI praised McKinney for his philanthropic activities, innovative marketing and design strategies, and client-centered advertising events.
