Franklin University of Ohio Assists Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Leadership Academy Alumni Association
Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) December 09, 2013 -- Franklin University is proud to help the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Leadership Academy Alumni Association (IMPDLAAA) with their efforts to support the leadership academy through its sponsorship of its recent social and fundraising event. The event, held Tuesday, Dec. 3 at the FOP Lodge# 86, was an entertaining evening for the alumni of the academy to engage, socialize, and raise funds to help support the Leadership Academy’s 2014 academic year. Held in partnership with the Officer David S. Moore Foundation, this year’s event raised $6,000 and will help assist future academy applicants and current academy participants by providing a network of support and resources for academy graduates, as well as promote the principles of leadership within the broadest sphere of influence possible.
This sponsorship furthers the partnership Franklin University established with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) in July. The new Education Partnership with IMPD, provides members of IMPD with the opportunity to achieve their education goals through an agreement that provides discounted tuition rates through Franklin University.
