FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (PRWEB) October 31, 2018 -- Franklin County Visitors Bureau is sponsoring Small Business Saturday, November 24, throughout Franklin County. The communities of Chambersburg, Greencastle, Mercersburg, Shippensburg, and Waynesboro are inviting the public to explore the quality of shopping small on November 24 and throughout the holiday season. Experience locally-owned boutiques, antique stores, coffee shops, toy stores, art galleries, game stores, collectible shops, rustic and refreshed furniture, plus wineries and a variety of American and International foods in the small businesses of Franklin County.
Between shopping the towns of Franklin County, make a stop at the new Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center on Chambersburg’s square--the gateway to exploring the history, art, recreation, and fresh food of Franklin County. Small Business Saturday 2018 is also the grand opening of the Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center, located at the intersection of Route 11 and 30 in Chambersburg. Grab an itinerary or two, a visitors guide, or a historic walking tour to add a little exploration to holiday shopping.
From 10 AM to 7 PM, speakers, exhibits and displays, book signings and walking tours, music, building tours, and two living history portrayals with light shows will help launch the new visitors center. The new Franklin County 11/30 Visitors Center is located in an 1865 bank building and situated along two historic transportation corridors of Route 11 and Route 30.
