Frederick Mutual Insurance Grant Application at Community Foundation Opens January 1
Since its inception in 1994, the fund has awarded more than $220,000 in grants to local nonprofits
FREDERICK, Md., Dec. 30, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Local nonprofits that provide direct benefits to Frederick County are encouraged to apply for grants from The Frederick Mutual Insurance Company Donor Advised Fund at The Community Foundation of Frederick County during the month of January.
Frederick Mutual Insurance Company established this fund in 1994 with a $150,000 contribution as part of the company's 150th anniversary celebration with the purpose of providing financial support for the Frederick County community. Since its inception, the fund has awarded more than $220,000 in grants to local nonprofits.
Applications will be accepted for programs and services for nonprofits working in the fields of human services, education, and historic research. Applicants must identify the specific impact that their organization will have on Frederick County. Beginning January 1, 2023, applicants can access the online application at http://www.FrederickCountyGives.org/grants. The application closes at 11:59 p.m. on January 31, 2023.
