GA Communication Group Announces New Talent Additions in Second Half of 2014
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 08, 2015 -- Brian Rose joined the GA executive team as the Vice President of Finance after a 17-year stint at The Marketing Store as the Vice President of Business Support.
In addition, the Client Service department added Vin Kalathiveetil as Senior Account Director. Vin most recently worked at Hobart Core as a Group Account Supervisor. He received a BS in Psychology from the University of Illinois and a PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy.
Anneliese Schrotenboer also joined the GA Client Service team as an Account Director. Prior to GA, Anneliese was most recently at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals where she was the primary lead for the strategic planning, execution, analysis, and optimization of all professional Multi-Channel Marketing (MCM) campaigns for US Oncology Brands. Anneliese has a Bachelor of Science in Communication with concentrations in Media Studies, Communication and Social Influence and Business Marketing from Cornell University.
GA also saw the return of Lauren Schroeder to the Client Services team as an Account Supervisor. Lauren is currently based out of GA’s Los Angeles location. Previously Lauren worked at GA’s Chicago office as an Account Executive and a Producer before pursuing her Masters in Business and Contemporary Art in England.
The Project Management team also saw the addition of 3 new producers and 3 project coordinators to help support increased workloads throughout the agency.
Megan Glanzman joined GA as a Producer after working at CAHG as a Project Manager, where she directed and managed the execution and development of multichannel projects from inception through completion. Megan attended Michigan State University, graduating with a BA in Advertising.
Joey Weber also joined the Project Management team as a Producer. Joey has 10 years of experience in project management and marketing and has direct involvement with web development and digital marketing. He attended the University of Richmond as a Political Science major with a minor in Philosophy.
Olivia Youtsey joined GA as an Associate Producer. Prior to GA, Olivia worked at Jacobs & Clevenger as an Account Coordinator where she gained valuable experience managing accounts for evolving direct and digital marketing campaigns. Olivia graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Communications and a specialization in Public Relations.
Tae Kim also joined the Project Management team as a Project Coordinator. Prior to coming to GA, Tae worked with NCH Marketing Services as an Account Coordinator where he consulted and served as a point of contact for 6 major consumer packaged goods clients, developing and implementing retail promotion programs. Tae graduated from the University of Illinois and earned a BA in English.
M’Lyn Corzatt joined the Project Management team as Project Coordinator. M’Lyn has previous experience in sales support at Pentair Valves & Controls, where she exceeded target sales and performance goals, and doubled sales for key accounts. She earned her degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Ambrose University.
Anne Barlow started in December as a Project Coordinator. Most recently Anne was a Senior Sales Associate at ServiceSource in Denver. While at ServiceSource, Anne handled a high volume, specialized territory for a global B2B technology company, managed recruiting revenue and provided accurate reporting and forecasting values rolled into the company-wide public monetary target. Anne has a BA International Relations and Political Science from Loyola University.
The GA Creative department also added new talent in both copy and design to help drive innovative creative solutions that continue to exceed client and industry expectations.
Raphe Cheli joined GA as a Senior Writer. With almost 15 years of experience as a medical writer, Raphe most recently worked at Hobart Group, creating print and mobile apps for the prostate drug Xtadi.
Michelle Haidet joined the Creative department as Art Director. Michelle has previous experience as an art director at TMP Worldwide in Chicago, IL where she won a WebAward for Best Advertising Online Ad. She earned her degree in Informational Graphics and Publication Design from Ohio University.
Doug Yamate is a new Writer and Content Specialist. Prior to joining GA, Doug worked with Siren Interactive, an agency that specializes in relationship marketing for rare disease therapies.
Borisz Bacsovics is now a Senior Designer for GA. Borisz has previously worked as a Designer and Animator at the Center for the Application of Information Technologies in Macomb, IL. He earned his BA in Advertising Design from Western Illinois University.
Laurel Farmer joined GA as a Senior Writer. Most recently, Laurel worked at AbbVie Inc. as a Medical Writer. At AbbVie, Laurel provided writing support for and managed medical publication projects across multiple teams, specifically dermatology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, antivirals, and neuroscience teams. Laurel holds a BS in Biological Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Chicago.
John Newton also joined GA as a Senior Writer after working at Discovery USA. While at Discovery USA, John helped create effective, informative copy for a wide range of media in integrated, user-focused campaigns. John received his BA in English and Music from Dickinson College and received his MA in English/Literacy and Cultural Studies from Carnegie Mellon University.
The Creative department also saw the addition of Chris Rogers who joined the GA team as a Senior Art Director. With over 10 years of experience in design, Chris most recently worked at Discovery USA. He received his BFA in Illustration from Northern Illinois University.
Nick Bruno and Maria Genovese both joined the Creative department in December as Associate Writers. Nick has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toledo and a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University. Most recently Nick has worked at both U-Haul International as an Area Field Manager and at Poetry East at DePaul University as an Associate Editor/Graduate Assistant where he was responsible for the development of the Fall and Spring issues from conception to distribution. Maria Genovese most recently worked for US Weekly as an Advertising Sales Assistant. Maria has her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island and a Master of Arts in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University.
GA also welcomed several members to the Digital Solutions team: Misty Castaldi, Max Trotter, Tracy Skorupski, and David Kuchta.
Misty Castaldi rejoined the GA Digital Solutions team as a User Experience Designer.
After interning for GA during the summer, Max Trotter accepted a position with the Digital Solutions team as a Digital Solutions Associate. Max graduated from the University of Colorado, earning his degree in Psychology and a minor in Technology, Arts & Media.
Tracy Skorupski joined GA in December as an Email/CRM Specialist. Tracy previously worked at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as their Assistant Director, Enrollment. She has vast experience in the digital realm. Tracy has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Mercyhurst University and a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
David Kuchta also joined the Digital Solutions team as a Digital Solutions Architect. David previously worked at Discover Card as an Associate Programmer. David graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science, Computer Science.
