Gary Sinise Foundation and CMG Foundation Join Forces to Double the Impact of #GivingTuesday Donations
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (PRWEB) November 28, 2018 -- This #GivingTuesday, the Gary Sinise Foundation is making it easier than ever to donate and make a difference in the lives of our Nation’s heroes.
Tuesday, November 27 is best known as #GivingTuesday, a global giving movement uniting people and organizations across the world by caring for, empowering, and supporting one another. Celebrated the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, #GivingTuesday encourages us to kick off the holidays with the spirit of charity, providing support to those in need.
For the Gary Sinise Foundation, every donation on this day will be matched up to $100,000 by the CMG Foundation. Not only will each donation be doubled to help our defenders and their loved ones, donors can also win exclusive prizes on the Gary Sinise Foundation Facebook page. Starting at 6 a.m. PST, you can donate during specific time periods to enter drawings and win prizes like Gary Sinise Foundation merchandise, exclusive products signed by Gary Sinise, even a personal phone call from Gary himself.
CMG Foundation has a mission to deliver hope, striving to make an impact on society through supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those in need. As long-time donors of the Gary Sinise Foundation, their ongoing commitment to serving America’s heroes is deeply appreciated.
“We are thankful to our friends at the CMG Foundation,” said Judith Otter, Chief Operating Officer at the Gary Sinise Foundation. “Their support, and the support of our generous donors, helps us extend a hand in times of need to those who willingly sacrifice each day to provide us freedom and security.”
“For every man and woman that has ever put on a uniform to defend our country, you make us at the CMG Foundation proud to be American,” said Taylor Stevens, a CMG Foundation representative. “While we can never fully repay the gratitude owed to you all, we are proud to stand by the Gary Sinise Foundation in their efforts to support the lives of our nation’s greatest heroes.”

Other programs include Relief & Resiliency Outreach, Invincible Spirit Festivals, Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band, Arts & Entertainment Outreach, Serving Heroes, First Responders Outreach, and Soaring Valor. About CMG Foundation
The CMG Foundation was founded by President and CEO Chris George in 2011 with the goal of helping those individuals in need who exemplify courage, loyalty, dedication, and selflessness. Our Foundations mission is simple, we strive to make an impact in society through supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the lives of others. With great admiration, our Foundation helps to provide wounded veterans and their families with the amenities needed to continue living a comfortable life. With great honor, we proudly contribute to Cancer organizations designed to help patients and their families through education and a sense of community. With pride—and a strong personal connection— we provide valued donations to banking industry non-profits who provide mortgage and rental assistance to families in times of personal crisis. Since our inception, our Foundation is proud to have contributed over $3MM in funding to those beneficiaries we support. Our fundraising comes largely through our annual Foundation event’s such as our Annual Wine Tasting and Charity Auction, as well as our inaugural Golf Tournament scheduled for April of 2019. Today, our largest beneficiaries include: The Gary Sinise Foundation, the MBA Opens Doors Foundation, and the Cancer Support Community of the San Francisco Bay Area.
