Riveting New Story That Shows the Reader The ‘Other Side’ of Fantasy
San Jose, Calif. (PRWEB) December 11, 2013 -- Imagine a world where the laws of civilization no longer apply and survival of the fittest is the only law that exists. Would humans still help one another in such harsh times or will they turn upon one another like animals? Author Gene Olsen plans to explore this concept in his book “Other Side.”
The story revolves around the lives of Tate, Logan, Sully, Borg, and Sam, five ordinary men who are transported to another universe where the rules of civilized society no longer apply. Forced to rely upon one another to survive their hellish ordeal each man soon develops a role in the group wherein the strong willed Tate takes up a lead position. Logan, a deep thinking man soon becomes the analysts of the group, Borg takes up the role of a cold realist. The sensitive Sully becomes the moral compass and the powerfully built Sam, the muscle. Faced with a reality unlike their own the group must learn to rely upon one another’s strengths and cover up the weaknesses or die in the unforgiving new world they find themselves in.
This book is a true fantasy novel complete with a bevy of relatable characters and a masterfully written plot that would leave one craving for more. “Other Side” is definitely a memorable and exciting read.
