George Andrew describes how Gospel helped him face wife’s audial neuroma

George Andrew recounts his experiences supporting his wife as she battled audial neuroma and how he was led to new spiritual realizations and discoveries when he turned to the Gospel for strength during those hard times. Now, with “The Gospel of Mark—Eternity and Readiness: A Journal by a Layman” (published by AuthorHouse), he shares what he has learned to readers everywhere, so that they too can find succor and guidance in Christ when they walk through the valley of shadows.

Andrew remembers when his wife was diagnosed and when he was informed that she had a walnut-sized tumor on her eardrum. He recounts how he was unsure of what to do next and how he could not find comfort from others while his wife struggled with her illness. His own conviction for learning helped him deal with this anxiety, driving him to go through years of workshops, seminars and other forms of self-education to unearth answers to the questions and problems vexing him.

“The Gospel of Mark” is the end result of all his work, created to help others better prepare for the challenges they face now and beyond – all by delving into the Apostle Mark’s gospel, which has been archaeologically shown to be the oldest gospel of the New Testament. With it, Andrews shows how to best use all the tools available in order to prepare for eternity while bringing comfort in this life.

“Most people seem to approach life’s challenges with either complete terror or utter apathy,” Andrew says. “Instead, I encourage people to use reason, their own senses and religion to better understand what is happening and how their actions echo into eternity.”
