Georgia Manufacturing Alliance Appoints Heather Berry as Membership Coordinator/Administrative Assistant
ATLANTA (PRWEB) March 29, 2019 -- The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Berry as their new Membership Coordinator & Administrative Assistant. With her educational background and experience with Georgia-based companies, Ms. Berry will be vital in maintaining a rapidly increasing membership base while assisting in everyday administrative functions.
“I have worked with manufacturers in the past and have seen first-hand the impact they have on our state,” said Ms. Berry when asked why she decided to join the GMA team. “As a Gwinnett County native, it is an honor to help promote the leading manufacturers who support our state’s economic stability and growth.”
The Georgia Manufacturing Alliance has seen tremendous growth this year and now has over 350 members and five regional chapters. GMA hosted over 120 events last year including plant tours, networking events, tradeshows, and educational sessions and they have a rich schedule planned this year. Their upcoming schedule includes plant tours at Fastenal, KIA Motors Manufacturing, Peachtree Packaging, Red Hare Brewery, ViaSat, and World Emblem. They also have educational sessions planned for Continuous Improvement, Cyber Security, and Workforce Development.

She will be handling the administrative tasks for our office, help with membership, and will be a great asset as we head into the Georgia Manufacturing Summit,” said Mr. Jason Moss, CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance.
GMA’s largest event of the year is the Georgia Manufacturing Summit which will be held October 9, 2019 at the Cobb Galleria. Expected to attract over 1,000 manufacturing professionals from across the Southeast, the Summit is considered the “Manufacturing Event of the Year” and will address the Trends to Track for 2020. Top name keynotes and over 40 industry leaders will provide an educational forum to discuss Manufacturing a Better Bottom Line, Supply Chain & Logistics, Workforce Development, Disruptive Technologies, Sales and Marketing Trends, and International Trade.
