In “Playing by the Rule” (published by AuthorHouse), Gerald J. A. Nwankwo’s 2012 book, which is getting a revived marketing campaign, young readers discover a story about love, honesty and faith. It is a book that will help children formulate ideas about what it means to grow up, as well as what hand they have – and God has – in shaping their experiences.
“Playing by the Rule” underscores Nwankwo’s belief in the supremacy of God. “Everything happens according to the will of Chi,” he says. “Whenever people play by Chi’s laws, they win.”
Nwankwo says that people will still encounter adversity while following Chi’s laws, but he believes that “the ultimate end portrays the handwork of God, which people of faith know as miracle.”
“Playing by the Rule” looks back at the moments in Nwanko’s life when he felt the power of Chi’s presence. The book serves as teaching tool for parents to share with young readers, giving children a model of moral behavior and an example of unwavering faith to follow.
