Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) June 13, 2014 -- Birdytell is a social gifting site that aims to simplify gift giving and make it a more meaningful experience. It is our goal to revolutionize the way people experience and give gifts. The site was created from necessity by entrepreneur and mother Lisa Morrow to make the process of finding the perfect gift much easier.
“It was difficult to shop for everyone who matters most in my life,” Morrow said. “With every kid’s birthday came duplicate gifts and multiple trips to the store to exchange toys we already had. I thought there should be a place to access gift information and keep current on a person’s favorite things, especially with close family and friends. Gifting should be fun, rather than a chore.”
With Birdytell, users can create “Flocks” of their family and closest friends and see the gifts they have chosen for any occasion. Flock members can be added via the site or through Facebook.
Selecting gifts is simple, with the Birdytell “Capture” toolbar widget. Simply find the webpage with the item you desire, and hit the Capture button to add it to your page. In addition to gifts, users can add experiences, travel destinations and other favorite things to give their flock members a better idea of who they are and what they love.
Gifts are easy to purchase from the site and the identity of the purchaser can be hidden so as not to spoil any surprises. You can even use the Birdytell Facebook app to peruse the site and purchase.
Birdytell is great for kids, too! Users under the age of 13 can have their own gift pages under their parents control. These “Peeps” pages are great for birthdays and other special occasions and can be shared with anyone via email, social media or online invitations.
“My entire family used Birdytell last holiday season and I finished shopping in less than an hour. It was unbelievably easy and everyone was happy to unwrap a gift they wanted,” Morrow said.
