GlobalTranz Expands Executive Team in Response to Strong Growth and to Continue Driving its Leadership in Freight Management and Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) November 10, 2016 -- GlobalTranz Enterprises, Inc., a leading technology-driven freight management solution provider, announced today the expansion of its executive management team with the addition of new sales and technology leadership. The new appointments are in direct response to company growth and market demand for innovative freight management solutions.
To lead the growth in GlobalTranz’ direct sales business, Leigh Ann Schneider joins the company as vice president of direct sales, overseeing direct sales to shippers. Leigh Ann is a 17-year veteran of the transportation industry, having held senior sales management positions at RR Donnelly, Forward Air and Towne Air Freight.
To take GlobalTranz to the next level in technology innovation and build for growth in LTL, FTL, multi-stop and multi-modal transportation, Greg Carter joined the company in September as chief technology officer. With 25 years of experience in building and scaling enterprise technology products and services, Greg most recently served as CTO for Kewill, overseeing the growth of its multi-modal transportation platform and cloud-based logistics solutions.
“GlobalTranz is one of the fastest growing freight brokerage companies in the industry,” said Renee Krug, chief financial officer for GlobalTranz. “We are excited to have Leigh Ann on board to help us capitalize on the opportunity to further build our industry-unique, hybrid agent/direct 3PL brokerage model that facilitates scale and allows us to gain optimal rates from our carrier partners while positioning us for broad geographic and vertical market coverage. Greg will help us ensure that the product platform keeps pace with changing market demands, provides innovative capabilities to empower the growth of our freight agents’ businesses and delivers the scalability needed to support a high level of customer service as we grow.”
The addition of two industry veterans demonstrates GlobalTranz’ commitment to accelerating growth and market leadership under the direction of CEO Bob Farrell, who joined the company earlier this year.
“GlobalTranz is committed to leading the transportation and logistics market in technology innovation and world-class freight management services through both direct sales and our vast world-class freight agent network,” said Bob Farrell, CEO of GlobalTranz. “We are excited to have Greg and Leigh Ann on board to help us realize this vision. Their combined industry expertise and proven track records of success will be valuable assets to GlobalTranz as we extend our solution offerings and grow our market leadership.”
