GNAX Health Unveils Total Medical Image Management Solution at RSNA 2013
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 02, 2013 -- GNAX Health is unveiling a total image management solution for healthcare providers at the Radiological Society of North America’s (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, IL. GNAX Health has created a technology solution that addresses medical image management issues across the total continuum of care. Whether the issue is eliminating CDs from your workflow, migrating PACS, reducing duplicate studies, image-enabling the EMR, archiving images, achieving real-time business continuity, or electronically exchanging images with affiliated hospitals and physician offices, GNAX Health can solve them all.
GNAX Health’s solution consists of a suite of products typically sold and purchased separately. These components include a vendor neutral archive, universal viewer, CD management tool and image exchange software. Separately, the costs of these products, in both money and the resources required to maintain them, compound significantly. GNAX Health combined these pieces into a holistic, yet modular image management platform that hospitals and imaging centers can purchase as a service.
GNAX Health wrote its own image exchange software called Secure DICOM Exchange (SDEX) that does more than simply exchange images with affiliates and external providers. It orchestrates the entire solution by controlling access, brokering the integration with the Electronic Medical Record system and universal viewer, and managing foreign study ingests.
Additionally, GNAX Health offers this entire platform with a single service and support model.
The Colorado Telehealth Network (CTN), part of the Colorado Hospital Association, is providing this GNAX Health solution to all of its member hospitals, effectively creating a statewide archive and exchange for medical images. The first CTN member hospital has started its implementation and several more are expected to begin in 2014.
"RSNA is the perfect venue for this solution," said George Robbie, Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for GNAX. "What we do that is so unique in this space is that we see the big picture. We can solve any particular problem or use case for a hospital, while simultaneously creating a platform that future-proofs your organization, solving many more issues down the road. We help providers take the current spend on their PACS and other imaging related systems and redirect it toward a more valuable solution. This approach ensures a return on investment rather than just adding more costs and another application to the stack."
Visitors to RSNA 2013 can learn more in GNAX Health’s booth #6146 during the show.
