Golden Office Trailers Gives Back to Community at Lake Elsinore Relay for Life
Lake Elsinore, CA (PRWEB) October 22, 2014 -- Local small business Golden Office Trailers supported the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life by donating an office trailer for use at the Lake Elsinore Relay for Life event held at Canyon Lake Middle School, October 11 – 12, and by running a series of Relay for Life fund raisers over the course of a year.
Golden Office Trailers chose to donate the 10 foot by 40 foot trailer, a common size among the company’s trailer inventory, to ease management demands at the Canyon Lake Middle School Relay for Life Event attended by students, parents and members of the community. Used for event registration for the more than 370 participants as well as supply storage, the trailer from Golden Office Trailers helped the Relay for Life organizers to manage the large crowd that brought together much needed money, awareness and support for cancer research.
In addition to donating the trailer to the event, Golden Trailers business owner Hal Woods and his employees helped to raise funds and increase awareness for cancer prevention and the fight against all types of cancer throughout the year. Honoring what has become an annual commitment to support the 24-hour Relay for Life event, Golden Office Trailers raffled items the company donated and supported relay participants.
The Lake Elsinore Relay for Life at Canyon Lake Middle School raised an estimated $40,000 for the American Cancer Society. Hal Woods and his wife joined Golden Trailers employees and their families at the race, walking on the Canyon Lake Middle School campus along with school staff, students and other community participants. Woods says, “after a year of planning and a successful Relay for Life on October 11-12, we are already starting to plan for next year.”
